History:
Founded in July 1982, the Sacramento PC Users Group (also known as SPCUG and SacPCUG)
has served members in Sacramento and surrounding counties for over 30 years. We were once
one of the largest PC user groups on the West coast and the fifth largest group in the nation
during it's peak with over 3,100 members in the early ninties.
Membership has declined over those years, however, our monthly General Meetings still
provide a unique forum to connect with others who share interests in computers and the
latest technologies. We always maintain about 35 to 50 users each and every month at our
general meetings. Our officers and volunteer staff strive to provide an informative
environment through instructional and informative presentations; timely discussions
of industry issues and changes; and the freedom to ask questions and share ideas.
